Overview
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for overseeing operational AML/CTF compliance across the full customer lifecycle at Dabble, ensuring strong adherence to regulatory obligations, internal policies and risk management frameworks. The role plays a key part in protecting the integrity of the business through transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, escalation management and accurate compliance reporting.
Acting as a central link between internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, the position requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment and exceptional attention to detail. The successful candidate will support AML/CTF, responsible gambling and data privacy obligations while contributing to a culture of compliance, accountability and responsible engagement across the business.
Primary Location
This role is currently open to candidates across Australia, with Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane preferred locations.
Responsibilities
Lead operational AML/CTF compliance activities across all stages of the customer lifecycle, from onboarding through to account closure.
Act as a key compliance contact for AML/CTF obligations, ensuring regulatory processes and controls are effectively applied.
Monitor and uphold strong KYC standards, including identity verification, transaction monitoring and record keeping.
Investigate and manage escalations relating to suspicious transactions, policy breaches and potential compliance concerns.
Escalate AML/CTF risks and suspicious matters to the Head of AML Compliance where required.
Prepare weekly compliance reporting for the AML & Safer Gambling Manger, including insights into emerging risks and operational performance.
Respond professionally and efficiently to regulator, management and customer enquiries.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve compliance issues and support regulatory outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of investigations, escalations and compliance workflows within internal systems.
Support responsible gambling and data privacy obligations, including regulatory filings and submissions where required.
Ensure AML/CTF Procedures Manuals (Parts A & B) are effectively implemented and adhered to across operational processes.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of Australian AML/CTF statutory and regulatory requirements.
Previous experience in AML/CTF, compliance or financial crime within a regulated environment.
Experience within the wagering, gambling or betting industry is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage with regulators, senior stakeholders and external partners.
Ability to manage competing priorities and high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working autonomously and under remote management.
Strong understanding of regulatory obligations, risk management and data privacy principles.
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
A proactive mindset with a willingness to continuously learn and develop.

Remuneration
The advertised salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
