Overview
This is a pivotal role in supporting the Acquisition team’s efforts across advertising, campaign management, and digital administration. Reporting directly to the Acquisition Marketing Manager, this position involves managing and optimising digital advertising campaigns across various self-serve platforms as well as any direct acquisition & brand led partnerships.
This role will primarily be focused on the US market but may work with the wider global team on other regions when resourcing is required.
This is a great role for you if you have hands-on experience running paid acquisition marketing campaigns and want to progress your experience, owning acquisition across a selection of platforms. This is an agile environment where you will learn a lot quickly, have access to in-depth data to inform your strategies and be well supported by an experienced team.
Primary Location
This role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne may be preferred. Some infrequent travel will be required in this role.
Responsibilities
Strategy
- Developing and executing the acquisition marketing strategy
- Assisting with the ideation of campaign strategies and creative concepts
- Performing weekly & monthly reporting
- Leading brand media buys throughout peak periods
- Leading AppsFlyer integration and setup for publishers, partners & affiliates
- Continually challenging the way things are done, coming up with approaches and strategies that deliver a competitive edge
Activation
- Creating, executing, scaling and maintaining digital acquisition and retargeting campaigns across paid platforms
- Supporting the Social team with the creation, execution, and maintenance of awareness campaigns across paid platforms
- Supporting affiliate tracking setup & integration via AppsFlyer
- Continually optimising and innovating to grow the Dabble community, assessing and testing new channels for acquisition growth
- Briefing and coordinating content producers and designers on the creation of visual assets to be used in ad campaigns
- Performing regular keyword research and adjusting copy to suit new keywords
- Supporting App Store Optimisation (ASO), in collaboration with ASA, to increase downloads of the Dabble app
- Working with the CRM team to best utilise Braze and platform audience segmentation to drive efficient activation & retention
- Supporting improvements to the user path to install and conversion rates from initial touchpoints
- Ensuring creative is compliant, RSG safe & adheres to NSW L&G laws
- Leading first-to-market alpha and beta opportunities when available
- Conducting regular competitor analysis of content and advertising
Testing
- Creating and managing testing programs across digital marketing channels that drive growth and better performance
- Creating an always-on testing schedule that continues to improve the number of FTDs driven by the team
- Ideating and implementing improvements to the customer experience and delivering a landing page testing program that delivers continual conversion rate improvement
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience in a similar brand or agency role
- Demonstrated knowledge of Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Twitter Ads and Facebook Ads platform tools, including reporting functionality
- Experience performing split testing and creating multiple ad variants
- Excellent copywriting skills, particularly strong CTAs and concise headlines
- Experience running App Installs campaigns highly desired
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and execute tasks in a dynamic (and fun) environment
- A proactive and creative approach, with the ability to challenge the norm to drive results
- Experience with reporting and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
- Sports or wagering industry experience highly regarded but not required

Remuneration
The advertised salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
